Emperor red snapper

Emperor red snapper is distributed in Indo-west Pacific. It occurs in the vicinity of coral or rocky reefs. The fish is a commercially important food fish and culture species in Taiwan. Artificial propagation and fry mass production techniques of this species were established in 1997.
