Leopard coral grouper, Coral trout

Coral trout is distributed in western Pacific; it occurs on coral reefs at depths from 3 to 100 m. It is an important culture species in Penghu Islands, Taiwan. The first artificial breeding and fry mass production were established in 1993 and 2004, respectively.
