Orbicular batfish

Orbicular batfish lives in shallow coastal waters. Adults are found occasionally in large schools. Juveniles occur in small groups. It feeds on algae, invertebrates and small fishes. It can be cultured in saltwater pond and marine cage. Artificial propagation technique of this species was established in 1995.
