Yellowfin seabream, Japanese silver bream

Yellowfin seabream is distributed in western Pacific. It can be found in shallow coastal waters and estuaries. Usually, it is a schooling species, and mainly feeds on worms, crustaceans and mollusks. Yellowfin seabream is a popular culture species in southern Taiwan. Artificial propagation technique of this species was established in 1980.
