Cobia, Sergeant fish

Cobia is distributed in warm marine waters. The first reported captive spawning of the species was occurred in 1991, and the technology to raise large quantities of cobia fry had been developed in 1994. It is the main species of marine cage culture in southern Taiwan and Penghu Island.
