Red seabream

Red seabream occurs at depths from 10 to 50 m in coastal waters, and also inhabits reefs. It is a popular high-priced food fish in Asia. This species is cultivated in sea cages in Penghu Islands. Natural spawning in pond and larval rearing was established in 1988.
